DMCA Copyright Policy
Riffy respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe content on Riffy infringes your copyright, submit a notice using the form below.
Designated Agent
All DMCA notices must be sent to our designated agent at legal@getriffy.com. Notices submitted through the form below are delivered to the same address via your email client.
What to Include
A valid DMCA takedown notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) must contain:
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including the URL
- Your contact information (address, phone, email)
- A statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorized
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act
Knowingly submitting a false DMCA notice may subject you to liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
Counter-Notices
If your content was removed and you believe the takedown was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice by emailing legal@getriffy.com with the same elements required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3).
Repeat Infringers
Riffy will terminate accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion.
